Watch Kim Richey’s 13th Floor Video Session
Kim Richey is a Nashville-based songwriter and recording artist who has had her songs covered by the likes of Trisha Yearwood, The Dixie Chicks, Jim Lauderdale and Patty Loveless. Her songs have been featured in many films and TV series including Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Alias and Nashville and she’s been recording her own albums since 1995 with her most recent being 2013’s Thorn In My Heart. Kim Richey is in New Zealand to play three shows including one this Saturday night at Auckland’s Tuning Fork. She arrived in New Zealand a week or so early to spend some time travelling around the country and stopped by The 13th Floor to talk with Marty Duda about Nashville and songwriting.
