Irish chart-toppers THE CRANBERRIES will perform in one New Zealand concert only on March 15, 2012 at Auckland’s Trusts Stadium – a precursor to St Patrick’s Day.

Several Irish bars in the city, O’Hagan’s Irish Bar, The Muddy Farmer and The Clare Inn, will run return bus services for this concert from their establishments. Spaces on these buses are limited and bookings need to be made direct with the bars.

A VIP Package is also now available for $195+GST. This includes VIP Lounge access from 2 hours prior to the concert, premium seating, 2 complimentary drinks at the champagne reception, canapés and carvery and access to your own cash bar throughout the concert. These can be booked via www.experiencegroup.co.nz  or by calling 09 304 0355.

Multi award nominated BONJAH will be appearing as special guests in the line up. This much-loved kiwi five piece moved from New Zealand to Melbourne in 2006. Since then BONJAH’s powerhouse performances, a blend of soul, rock and roots, are reputed to be amongst the most talked about shows in the country, described as intimate, moving and full of good energy.

THE CRANBERRIES, fronted by Dolores O’Riordan, lit up the charts around the world for more than a decade with classics such as Linger, Dreams and Zombie. They have sold more than 30 million records and have had two number one albums in Australia, No Need To Argue (1994) and To The Faithful Departed (1996).

Other live favourites include Free To Decide, When You’re Gone, Salvation, Ode To My Family and Ridiculous Thoughts. After taking a few years off to raise their families, the band are thrilled to be back with their new album, Roses (released next year through Shock Records on February 10), their first record in more than ten years since Wake Up And Smell The Coffee in 2001.
