Despite the wintery June weather, Jed Parsons dragged us all off the couch and into the Whammy Bar for a good dose of dancing on Saturday night. Jed and his band rocked our socks off with the kind of feet tapping, hip-swaying tunes you don’t mind hopping out of bed for.
At 10pm The Whammy bar is crowded and when Dual come on stage just before 10.20pm it is clear they have evolved since I last saw them. They have added live drums to support Maurice Miller’s vocals and electronics, and Jamie Pyne’s guitar.
