R.I.P. Celia Patel aka Mancini of King Loser
We are very sad to report that Celia Patel aka Celia Mancini, of King Loser, has passed away. Celia played bass and keyboards and sang with the band along with guitarists Chris Heazlewood and Sean O’Reilly and drummer Lance Strickland aka Tribal Thunder.
After releasing a couple of albums in the mid-90s, the band split, only to reunite last year for a brief tour. Their ’76 Comeback Special is a classic. Watch it here:
