Bulletbelts Album release on Sunday turned out to be a bit of surprise for the audience; the sad news that vocalist Fergus was leaving Bulletbelt, but the awesome news that Jolene was joining!

Bulletbelt has released the following statement; “Bulletbelt is proud to announce Jolene Tempest as our new vokllist. We look forward to what she will bring to Bulletbelt. We have some big shows coming up and are excited about working towards our 2nd album with her.

We farewell our brother Ferg who has decided to move on. We thank him for his great contribution to the band and wish him all the best.”

As much as I love the vocals of Fergus, I am always pro more Metal Goddesses, and Jolene is that to a tee! I wish the band the best of luck, and look forward to the planned trip to Auckland in February so I can check out Jolene live for myself!  In other news Dawn of Azazel will be heading over to Mana recording studios in St. Petersburg, Florida, sometime in January 2014, for a long awaited new album. Sometime in January we will be having frontman Rigel Walsh doing a guest radio set here on the 13th Floor, so watch out!

 Also this month we will have a interview with members of Grindcore band Primate, who are touring in January. Details to come.
