Atmosphere and more, news Friday 27th Feb
It’s a Friday and good news abounds; firstly, Napalm Death and Carcass have announced a second Valhalla show, and I am pretty fucking jealous, so if you missed out on the first sold out show don’t be a fool a second time and get your damn tickets asap!
I just had a listen to the seriously fucking beautiful sneak peek for the upcoming CVLT NATION Sessions compilation of Joy Divsion’s CLOSER. The preview is the bonus track for the album, featuring a haunting and beautiful version of that hauntingly beautiful song ‘Atmosphere’, and man does Scott Kelly (Neurosis, MIRRORS FOR PSYCHIC WARFARE) do it justice. If this is the quality to come I am truly fucking excited. I will be keeping a close eye on this wee project, and update as I hear more.
February 27th at The Kings Arms Tavern Auckland.
February 28th at Valhalla Wellington.
Australian brutal death metal powerhouse will make their first trek across the ditch, to unleash MISERY upon New Zealand.
With the release of their second full length album ‘MISERY’ through New Standard Elite, Disentomb will deliver nothing less than earthquake inducing slams, a repulsive guttural assault to the dissonant sludge and hyper blasting violence.
Both shows supported by Auckland’s brutal death metal tyrants Carnal
