13th Floor New Song Of The Day: Drivin N’ Cryin – Ian McLagan
Atlanta rockers Drivin ‘N Cryin offer up a tribute to Faces keyboard player in the form of a tune dedicated to, and named after him.
Ian McLagan passed away 2014 after serving as the keyboard player for the Small Faces and The Faces and can be heard on such classic hits as Itchycoo Park, Tin Soldier and Stay With Me.
Drivin N’ Cryin singer Kevin Kinney gives his own. personal account of McLagan’s and The Faces’ influence on his musical development and former Georgia Satellites vocalist Dan Baird joins in for the final chorus.
Ian McLagan, the song, will appear on Drivin’ N’ Cryin’s upcoming album, Live The Love Beautiful.
