13th Floor New Song Of The Day: David Byrne – Everybody’s Coming To My House

David Byrne is about to release his first solo album in 14 years.

The new long-player is titled American Utopia and its due out on March 9th. Along with that announcement, Byrne has released a video for the track Everybody’s Coming To My House, a song co-written by David and Eno and featuring Sampha, TTY and Onyx Collectiv’s Happa Isaiah Barr.

According to Byrne: “These songs don’t describe an imaginary or possibly impossible place but rather attempt to depict the world we live in now. Many of us, I suspect, are not satisfied with that world—the world we have made for ourselves. We look around and we ask ourselves—well, does it have to be like this? Is there another way? These songs are about that looking and that asking.”
